Gaza ceasefire provides opportunity for permanent end to conflict, expert says
The current ceasefire in Gaza, which came into effect Sunday Monday, has provided an opportunity to end the decades-long Israeli-Palestinian conflict, political scientist, co-founder and president of the International Forum for Peace Ofer Bronchtein said in an interview with FRANCE 24, adding that the truce could also allow for a lasting change in the region where a two-state solution is implemented.
