‘Nine Perfect Strangers’ Sets Season 2 Release Date, Drops First-Look at Nicole Kidman’s Return as Masha

Hulu has set the release date for “Nine Perfect Strangers” Season 2, with the streamer also dropping some first-look photos from the new season.

The new season of the series will debut on May 21 with two new episodes, followed by new episodes weekly. Nicole Kidman returns as the enigmatic Masha Dmitrichenko, with the Season 2 also including: Henry Golding, Lena Olin, Annie Murphy, Christine Baranski, Lucas Englander, King Princess, Murray Bartlett, Dolly de Leon, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Mark Strong and Aras Aydin.

The official description of Season 2 states, “Nine new strangers connected in ways they could never imagine are invited by mysterious guru Masha Dmitrichenko (Kidman) to join a transformational wellness retreat in the Austrian Alps. Over the course of a week, she takes them to the brink. Will they make it? Will she? Masha is willing to try anything in the interest of healing everyone involved, including herself.”

Season 1 of “Nine Perfect Strangers” was based on the book of the same name by Liane Moriarty. It debuted on Hulu in 2021. The second season was announced in 2023.

The show hails from David E. Kelley, Bruna Papandrea’s Made Up Stories, Kidman’s Blossom Films, and Fifth Season. Kelley, Kidman, Per Saari, Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, Molly Allen, Jonathan Levine, Rachel Shukert, Moriarty, Matthew Tinker, Anthony Byrne and JH Butterworth executive produce. Fifth is handling distribution on the series as well.
