Residents unite work together as police arrest man after ‘jewellery stolen’

Thames Valley Police officers from Bicester Police Station arrested a man on suspicious of attempting to carry out a distraction Burglary in Nuffield Close in Bicester earlier this afternoon (Wednesday, February 5).
This was in response to several calls from residents, who reported that the man had stated that he was interested in buying unwanted or broken gold and silver jewellery as a means of entering people’s homes.
The callers recognised the man as the same person responsible for targeting a vulnerable neighbour a few weeks previously Friday, January 24 in a distraction Burglary, where several items were stolen, including family jewellery of great sentimental value.
