Saif Ali Khan was injured and had to be rushed to the hospital early Thursday morning. The actor sustained wounds after getting into a scuffle while attempting to stop burglary at his Bandra home. The actor took on the robber single handedly to ensure safety of his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and kids Taimur and Jeh who were at home and sleeping. The actor is undergoing treatment at Lilavati hospital and according to our sources, the family has been adviced to avoid being at the hospital, to avoid safety concerns and create unnecessary panic amongst fans and media. The hospital and the doctors treating the actor are keeping them abreast about every little update regarding his health and treatment. The matter is being investigated by the Bandra police and Mumbai crime branch. As per latest reports, the police is thoroughly checking for clues at the residence and a few suspects have also been detained. It is being reported that it was Saif’s oldest son Ibrahim Ali Khan who rushed him to the hospital after the incident. While he doesn’t stay at Saif’s Bandra residence, he rushed to the scene as soon as he got the news and was the one to take his father to the doctors for immediate care.
